What is Ginkgo?

Help! How To Fix a Stain
If red wine splashes or tomato sauce drips onto your lovely linen tablecloth, no need to panic. Immediately saturate the stain with either laundry stain remover or soda water. Do not rub the stain – just let the liquid soak in. Let it sit while you finish your dinner party. Then wash as usual.
How to Wash Your Linen Tablecloth
Linen is made from flax, a natural fibre that can absorb a lot of water and is prone to creasing.
- For best results, wash on it’s own – not in a machine full with lots of other items. Give items a lot of space to move around in the drum to reduce creasing.
- Select a gentle machine wash on a cool to moderate setting up to about 40 C. Use a gentle detergent without bleach.
- When the cycle is finished, immediately remove the tablecloth to avoid extra creasing from sitting damp in the drum.
- Drying on the line is best. If required linen can be tumbled dried at low temperatures. Don’t overload the dryer. To avoid creasing, remove the tablecloth as soon as it’s finished drying.
- You don’t need to iron your tablecloth as natural creases can add a relaxed charm. If you want it to be completely wrinkle free, it’s best to iron while it’s still slightly damp. Use a medium setting with steam.

Ideal Tablecloth Sizes for Rectangle Tables
Help is here to find the best tablecloth to suit your rectangle table. First, measure your table and add the amount of overhang you would like. Remember to add the overhang amount twice to allow for both sides. For a 100cm wide table with an overhang of 20cm, the width of the tablecloth would be 140cm. The ideal overhang is entirely personal preference. Suggested tablecloth sizes below are based on an overhang of between 15cm to 25cm.

What Width?
The tablecloths come in a variety of widths:
- 120cm wide to suit a small four seater or coffee table
- 140cm to 150cm wide to suit most standard tables measuring between 85cm and 120cm
- 175cm to 295cm wide to suit very wide tables or if you want a longer overhang
