Products and Orders

You can see our full range of products at our pop-up shop. You’ll usually find us at shopping centres around Sydney’s north shore. Why not drop in and say “bonjour”. Check out our pop-up shop schedule for locations and dates. We don’t have a standard shop location.

First measure your table and then work out how much overhang you would like. Add this to the table size to determine your ideal tablecloth size. Remember you have to add double the overhang size to allow for a drop on each side.  So, if your table is 200cm x 100cm and you like a 25cm overhang, your ideal tablecloth size would be 250cm x 150cm.

Well .. it depends.  Personal preference determines the size of the drop, although anything between 10cm and 25cm would be considered “normal”.

To determine the ideal measurement, experiment with an existing tablecloth and drape it at different lengths over your table.  You’ll soon discover what works best for you.

Still confused? Read our blog post to help decide the best overhang for your table.

Care Instructions for Your Tablecloth

So easy! You really don’t need to wash your tablecloth very often as you just wipe it down after each use.  Immediately wipe off any spills with a damp cloth.

If you want to freshen up your tablecloth, you can machine wash without affecting the coating. Select a gentle wash on a moderate to cool setting up to about 40 C. Use a gentle detergent without bleach.

Like any fabric, the tablecloth may crease after washing. Just hang to dry and put back on the table. If you want to get every last wrinkle out, use a medium temperature iron with steam. Always iron on the reverse side. Do not dry clean or bleach.

Linen is made from flax, a natural fibre that can absorb a lot of water. It is prone to heavy creasing in the wash, but if you give items a lot of space to move around in the drum, you’ll have much fewer creases. For best results, wash on it’s own – definitely not in a machine full with lots of other items.

Select a gentle machine wash on a moderate to cool setting up to about 40 C. Use a gentle detergent without bleach. When the cycle is finished, immediately remove the tablecloth from the machine to avoid any extra creasing from sitting damp in the drum.

Drying on the line is best, but if required linen can be tumbled dried at low temperatures. Do not overload the dryer and to avoid creasing, remove as soon as it has finished drying.

You don’t need to iron your tablecloth, but if you want it to be completely wrinkle free, it’s best to iron it while it’s still slightly damp. Use a medium to low setting.

If the red wine splashes or the tomato sauce drips onto your lovely linen tablecloth, no need to panic. Immediately saturate the stain with laundry stain remover or soda water. Do not rub the stain – just let the liquid soak in. Let it sit while you finish your dinner party.

If the mark is still there, before washing, add some water and make a paste on the stain with natural Savon de Marseille soap.  Do not rub, just let it sit for ten minutes. Then wash normally.
