Sustainability
We care about the planet. Limiting our environmental impact is one of our key drivers in product selection and the day-to-day operation of the business.
Recycling is our superpower. We re-use everything: bubble wrap, plastic bags, packaging, fabric offcuts and more. Boxes and packing materials from supplier orders that we’re not able to reuse are saved from landfill by giving them away through local sustainability groups.
Many of our products are environmentally friendly. Linen is one of the most sustainable fabrics in the world and our acrylic coated tablecloths are surprisingly eco-friendly. We have a zero-waste philosophy and all fabric off-cuts from tablecloths are used to create beautiful homewares. Check out our zero waste range.
We also offset our carbon emissions through Greenfleet. On our behalf, they plant bio-diverse native trees to restore native forests and ecosystems. These provide crucial habitat for endangered wildlife, help counter the devastating impact of the bush fires, and reduce the impacts of climate change.
We support
French Affair is proud to support several initiatives locally and globally to make the world a better place.
We provide microfinance to women in underdeveloped French speaking countries via Kiva. We envision a world where all people have the power to create opportunities for themselves and others.
