Care instructions
Linen is the strongest and most resistant natural fiber. It has unique bacteriologic properties and is less prone to wear and tear. With proper care, your favorite linen pieces will continue to delight you for many years.
To avoid shrinkage, the machine washing temperature should be 40°C / 100°F. Avoid harsh powder detergents and don’t use oxygen-based bleach. Your linen tablecloth should be washed on its own rather than with other items.
If possible, for best results, avoid using a washing machine and wash by hand.
For best drying results, hang-dry your linen. If you must use a tumble dryer, choose the low setting and dry the tablecloth on it’s own to allow it to move freely in the drum. Remove it while still damp. Overdrying weakens the fibres causing shrinkage and pilling.
You can iron the fabric for a neat look, but we encourage you to embrace a natural crinkled look.
